Welcome to our TK class! It is going to be a fun and joyful year at school! This is my It is my fourth year teaching in the Etiwanda district, and 8th year overall. I've enjoyed teaching grades K-2 and 5th. TK is an exciting opportunity to introduce your child to the joy and excitement of school. This will be a year full of memories and growth, laying foundations for upcoming school experiences.

My family is from Illinois, and we've lived in California for about 6 years now, and love it! I have my Bachelor of Arts from North Park University, where I majored in Elementary Education as well as English. I am nearing completion of a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction through Western Governors University. In my spare time, I enjoy running, reading, cooking, hiking and finding fun ways to spend time with our family - especially outdoors! Announcements

Snack Time: Your child will enjoy a snack time daily. Please send them with a healthy, easily accessible snack to enjoy along with a labeled water bottle. Thanks!

Birthdays: Birthdays are exciting celebrations! Each child will be recognized for their birthday. If you would like to share a small treat with the class, it must be store bought. Please notify me prior, if you are planning to bring a treat to share!

Star of the Week: Weekly, one student will be randomly chosen to share about themselves and have a few special privileges. Instructions will come home, as your child is chosen, so you can help them participate!
